ec(o)llection (n.)- an eco-friendly eclectic collection. it could also be a verb.

Exhibit at Zazzy's in Abingdon, Virginia (September/October)

These photos were taken over the past year by Jonathan Clements and Brittany LaMontagne.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico:
At the beginning of last summer, we scoured Craigslist for a reliable compact truck and found a golden beauty-- now a respectable member of our small family--named Ned. From behind his wheel, we snaked our way down to Mexico and into another world. That world is documented in these photos. The bright colors still pulse behind our eyes; foods' flavors and smells still simmer in our memories. And if you coax him with sweet words, you might even get Ned to tell you about some of the bribery, the scandal, the strikes, and the drama that he saw this past year -- he has a set of well-wrought of dashboard confessionals.

Euro Trash... or shall I say "rubbish"?:
Some of these photos were taken in Morocco, Switzerland, and Austria. This summer, Jonathan hopped the Great Pond, landed on that tiny continent, and lived high on the hog by surfing friends' couches, using his killer street smarts, and diving in dumpsters.

"Name's Boone, Daniel Boone."
Both Brittany and Jonathan hail from the mountains of NC. Photos were taken on the Blue Ridge Parkway and in the Front Yard of The House. (Both deserve to be Proper Nouns.)

No frames have been harmed in the making of these photos. They are all lovingly adopted, salvaged, or put in our proper foster care for this purpose: that they can hereby interrupt the waste flow and become loyal participants in the display of our photos.
